i am a wanting thing is a limited-edition poetry zine by Sofía Aguilar documenting the last three months of 2024 when the author was in a long-distance relationship with an unnamed lover, and touching on themes of mental illness, anxiety, adjustment disorder, grief, and renewal. Marking each poem with the date it was written, this is a gorgeous collection that is part-diary, part-confession booth, and undoubtedly, Aguilar's most vulnerable work to date.
